Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #20-059 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING DRIVEWAY ACCESS FOR <br />LOT 2 BLOCK 1 HAUCK ADDITION OFF OF 169TH LANE NW <br />RECITALS <br />1. The City of Ramsey received an application for a Variance, Sketch Plan, and Final Plat for <br />HAUCK ADDITION on March 1, 2019; and <br />2. The Planning Commission reviewed the Sketch Plan and conducted a Public Hearing for <br />the Variance on April 4, 2019; and <br />3. The Planning Commission approved a Variance to minimum lot size on April 4, 2019; and <br />4. The City Council reviewed and approved the Final Plat on April 23, 2019, which created <br />Lots 1-2, Block 1 Hauck Addition; and <br />5. On February 21, 2020, Paul Oster (the "Property Owner") submitted an application for a <br />Building Permit for a new home on Lot 2, Block 1 Hauck Addition (the "Subject Property") <br />with a proposed driveway accessing 169th Lane rather than Neon Street; and <br />6. On March 10, 2020, the City's Development Review Team reviewed the proposed <br />driveway location and recommended the driveway either be relocated to Neon Street or a <br />'turn around' be added to the driveway to avoid backing out onto 169th Lane. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the Subject Property having driveway <br />access from 169th Lane NW contingent upon a 'turn around' being installed as part of the <br />driveway to reduce or eliminate the need to back out onto 169th Lane NW. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 24th day of March, 2020. <br />
