City of <br />RAMSEY <br />March 19, 2020 <br />Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />City of Ramsey <br />7550 Sunwood Drive NW <br />Ramsey, MN 55303 <br />Re: Feasibility Report — City of Ramsey Improvement Project #20-04 <br />Puma Street Improvements (150th Lane NW to Alpine Drive NW) <br />Dear Mayor and City Council Members: <br />Transmitted herewith is a Feasibility Report for the proposed Puma Street Improvements (150th Lane NW <br />to Alpine Drive NW), Improvement Project No. 20-04. <br />The report examines the feasibility of reconstructing approximately 1,050 linear feet of Puma Street <br />between 150th Lane NW and Alpine Drive NW, extending trunk utilities, and constructing necessary <br />appurtenant improvements, to serve two new residential developments. <br />This Feasibility Report examines the scope of the proposed improvements, explores estimated costs and <br />available funding sources, defines a preliminary project schedule, and determines the necessity, feasibility <br />and general cost-effectiveness of the proposed improvements, as well as whether the improvements would <br />best be completed separately or in conjunction with another project. <br />Please contact me at 763-433-9825 or bwestby@cityoframsey.com with any questions regarding this report. <br />Sincerely, <br />City of Ramsey <br />Bruce Westby, PE <br />City Engineer <br />Enclosure <br />C: Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br />Joe Feriancek, Civil Engineer II <br />
