• <br />• <br />• <br />Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #00- 06 -$58 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A MUSIC FESTIVAL LICENSE TO <br />DIAMONDS SPORTS BAR AND GRILL, INC. <br />WHEREAS, on May 24, 2000, the Diamonds Sports Bar & Grill, Inc. (Applicant) <br />properly applied for a Music Festival License on the property legally described as follows: <br />Lot 1 and Outlot A, Block 1, The Diamonds, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />(the "Site); and <br />WHEREAS, the Applicant submitted all application materials in accordance with <br />Chapter 7 (Licensing and Permits), Section 7.07 (Music Festivals); and <br />WHEREAS, City Council approved an Outdoor Music Festival permit to Diamond's <br />Sports Bar & Grill for August 14, 1999; and <br />WHEREAS, a report from Ramsey Police Chief was presented to City Council <br />following the 1999 Music Festival stating that all provisions of the special use permit were <br />adhered to by Diamond's. The site easily accommodated the parking needs of guests, no liquor <br />violations were observed, and no criminal violations were observed by Ramsey officers nor were <br />they summoned by either Diamond's employees or private security to deal with rowdy or <br />uncooperative guests; and <br />WHEREAS, the application was acted upon by City Council on June 27, 2000. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That a Music Festival License is hereby issued to Diamonds Sports Bar and Grill, Inc. <br />(Licensee) at 7550 Hwy. #10 N.W. for August 19, 2000, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. <br />However no outdoor liquor sales shall be permitted after 9:00 p.m., and the definition of <br />outdoor shall include the facility patio. Outdoor liquor sales may resume on the patio only at <br />10:30 p.m. <br />2. That outdoor liquor sales shall conform to State liquor laws relative to perimeter fencing and <br />declaration within the insurance policy. <br />3.
