• <br />Councilmember Hendriksen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #00 -06 -154 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF $3,611.69 FROM EQUIPMENT <br />REPLACEMENT FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE PURCHASE OF A <br />DEFIBRILLATOR, TRANSCRIBER AND TWO MINI - CASSETTE RECORDERS IN <br />THE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />WHEREAS, at the Finance Committee meeting of June 13, 2000, staff presented a <br />request for a budget amendment for the replacement of a defibrillator, transcriber and mini - <br />cassette recorders within the Police Department; and <br />WHEREAS, these items were not included in the 2000 General Fund budget as they <br />became inoperable during the budgeted year, and <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that the additional purchases can be completed <br />utilizing $3,611.69 of net new monies; and <br />WHEREAS, these additional purchases would require a budget amendment to reallocate <br />current budget line items and allow for a transfer of $3,611.69 from the Equipment Replacement <br />Fund to the General Fund. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) The Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes a budget amendment to the Police <br />Department budget in the amount of $3,611.69. <br />2) The Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the transfer of $3,611.69 from the <br />Equipment Replacement Fund to the General Fund budget of the Police Department. <br />3) The Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the purchase of a defibrillator in the amount <br />of $2,751.69, and a transcription machine and two mini - cassette recorders in the amount <br />of $860.00. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Connolly and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Henriksen <br />Councilmember Connolly <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />
