• <br />• <br />• <br />Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99 -66, #99 -68, AND #00 -28 A.K.A. 2000 STORM WATER <br />PROJECTS <br />WHEREAS, Resolution #00 -05 -116 was adopted by Ramsey City Council approving the <br />plans and specifications and the advertisement for bids for the above - referenced work; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Improvement Project #99 -66, <br />#99 -68, and #00 -28 a.k.a 2000 Storm Water Projects, bids were received, opened and tabulated <br />according to law on June 8, 2000; and <br />WHEREAS, the following quotes were received for Improvement Project #00 -27: <br />Bidder Amount of Bid <br />Meadowvale Construction Inc. <br />W.B. Miller, Inc. <br />Burschville Construction <br />Engineer's Estimate <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that Meadowvale Construction Inc. is the lowest <br />responsible bidder. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Meadowvale Construction in the name of the City of Ramsey for <br />Improvement Projects #99 -66, #99 -68, and #00 -28 a.k.a 2000 Storm Water Projects. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Anderson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Connolly <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />RESOLUTION #00 -06 -146 <br />$262,461.00 <br />$271,695.35 <br />$275,513.61 <br />$288,237.00 <br />
