• <br />• <br />Councilmember Hendriksen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #00 -05 -125 <br />RESOLUTION OBTAINING THE CONSULTING SERVICES OF LEONARD LEVINE <br />PERTAINING TO SECTION 28 AND RELATED TRANSPORTATION ISSUES <br />WHEREAS, on December 14, 1999, the City Council authorized the execution of an <br />agreement with Leonard Levine to provide consulting services for Trunk Highway #47; and <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the contract has been extended for additional services through April 2000; <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Levine has performed the services contracted for in December 1999, <br />and March/April 2000; and <br />WHEREAS, the City would like to utilize the services of Mr. Levine for an additional <br />period of time; and <br />WHEREAS, an additional fee of $7,000 is requested as compensation for a four -month <br />project; and <br />WHEREAS, funding for the additional contracted services will be paid from a mid -year <br />• budget amendment. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That the City Council hereby authorizes the payment of $7,000 to Mr. Leonard Levine <br />for additional services provided on the Section 28 and related transportation matters. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Zimmerman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Connolly <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />
