• <br />Councilmember Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #00 -04 -109 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HIRING OF SEAN SULLIVAN TO <br />FINANCE TIF SPECIALIST <br />WHEREAS, the City Council authorized the hiring of a Finance TIF Specialist; and <br />WHEREAS, nine applications were received and five candidates were interviewed by a <br />panel on April 12, 2000; and <br />WHEREAS, Sean Sullivan was the panel's first choice and met with the Finance Officer <br />and City Administrator on April 17, 2000. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel <br />Committee to hire Sean Sullivan for the full time Finance TIF Specialist position effective <br />April 26, 2000. <br />2) That in his new position as a Finance TIF Specialist, Mr. Sullivan will be compensated at an <br />annual rate of $37,315 with two weeks of vacation with two weeks of vacation and be <br />required to complete a six month probationary period. <br />3) That Mr. Sullivan will be required to exhibit demonstrable progress in acquiring his four year <br />degree. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Hendriksen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Connolly <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />
