• <br />Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #00 -04 -085 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING RAMSEY LIONS CLUB. APPLICATION FOR A <br />PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT MCDUFF'S EATERY AND PUB <br />IN RAMSEY <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey Lions Club. has applied for a premise permit for gambling at <br />McDuff's Eatery and Pub, 16659 St. Francis Boulevard, Ramsey; and <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey Lions Club. has requested Council waive the 30 -day notice <br />provision; and <br />WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for the <br />Ramsey Lions Club, Inc. to operate lawful gambling at McDuffs Eatery and Pub, 16659 <br />St. Francis Boulevard, Ramsey. <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30 -day notice provision. <br />3) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br />Officer to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br />Gambling Control Board. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Connolly and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Connolly <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />
