• Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #00 -04 -084 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DECERTIFICATION OF TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 5 LOCATED IN MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1. WHEREAS, Tax Increment Financing District No.5 officially received its' last tax increment in year ending 1999; WHEREAS, any Tax Increment Financing District is required to submit a formal resolution to the State and County Auditor stating that the district has been decertified and state that all tax increment has been spent, or any excess will be returned to the County to be redistributed; and WHEREAS, Tax Increment Financing District #5, at year -end 1999, did not contain any excess tax increment; and WHEREAS, 2000 will be the final year that a Tax Increment Financing Authority and Municipality Report will be submitted to the State Auditors Office pertaining to Tax Increment Financing District No. 5; and WHEREAS, Tax Increment Financing District No. 5, after December 31, 2000, will no longer be required to submit TIF Authority and Municipality Reports to the State Auditors office as the conditions of the district having been decertified and all tax increment from the district having been spent meet the conditions of no longer requiring a report to be submitted; and. WHEREAS, Tax Increment Financing District No. 5 is the City of Ramsey's second decertified district within its two Municipal Development Districts. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the decertification of the City of Ramsey's Tax Increment Financing District No. 5 located in Municipal Development District No. 1. The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Connolly, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Zimmerman Councilmember Connolly Councilmember Anderson Councilmember Hendriksen
