• <br />• <br />Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #00 -03 -070 <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #00 -27 (SANITARY SEWER AND WATERMAIN <br />EXTENSION TO B & B CARPET AND CITY WIDE DOOR CO.) <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to petition received from B & B Carpet, a report has been <br />prepared by John Oliver and Associates, Inc. with reference to Improvement Project #00 -27 <br />(Sanitary Sewer and Watermain Extension to B & B Carpet and City Wide Door Co.); and <br />WHEREAS, the report was received by the City of Ramsey on March 28, 2000 which <br />indicates the following: <br />Estimated total cost of project <br />Estimated total assessment <br />Estimated assessment for B & B Carpet <br />(10 -year term) <br />Estimated assessment for City Wide Door Co. <br />(10 -year term) <br />*Includes associated trunk costs. <br />$ 92,482.00 <br />$175,208.00* <br />$ 61,631.53* <br />$113,576.47* <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvement of sanitary sewer and <br />watermain extension to B & B Carpet and City Wide Door Co. in accordance with the report <br />and the assessment of butting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an <br />estimated total cost of $92,482. <br />2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement at 7:00 p.m. on the 25 <br />day of April, 2000, in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center, and the City <br />Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as <br />required by law. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Connolly, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Connolly <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />
