• <br />Councilmember Hendriksen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption. <br />RESOLUTION #00 -02 -042 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING APPRAISAL OF DAMAGE VALUES RELATING TO <br />THE STATE TRUNK HIGHWAY #47 IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, on June 8, 1999, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #99 -06 -110, <br />authorizing the commencement of an eminent domain action for acquisition of fee title, perpetual <br />easements and temporary construction easements as necessary regarding those parcels described <br />on the attached Exhibit A (the Subject Property); and <br />WHEREAS, the owners of the Subject Property have been identified as shown on the <br />attached Exhibit A; and <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of these property acquisitions is to acquire property for the <br />improvement of a certain portion of State Trunk Highway #47 within the City; and <br />WHEREAS, as a part of the condemnation action, the City authorized that the Subject <br />Property to be acquired be appraised to determine the damages incurred by the owners as a result <br />of this taking; and <br />WHEREAS, the City's appraiser has completed preliminary appraisals of the Subject <br />Property. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council hereby approves the preliminary appraisals of value of the Subject <br />Property as shown on the attached Exhibit A. <br />2) That pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 117.042, the City Attorney is authorized to deposit the <br />appraised amounts with the District Court Administrator or to pay said amount directly to the <br />parcels' respective owners. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Anderson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Anderson <br />Councilmember Connolly <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />
