• Councilmember Hendriksen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption. RESOLUTION #00 -02 -042 RESOLUTION APPROVING APPRAISAL OF DAMAGE VALUES RELATING TO THE STATE TRUNK HIGHWAY #47 IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, on June 8, 1999, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #99 -06 -110, authorizing the commencement of an eminent domain action for acquisition of fee title, perpetual easements and temporary construction easements as necessary regarding those parcels described on the attached Exhibit A (the Subject Property); and WHEREAS, the owners of the Subject Property have been identified as shown on the attached Exhibit A; and WHEREAS, the purpose of these property acquisitions is to acquire property for the improvement of a certain portion of State Trunk Highway #47 within the City; and WHEREAS, as a part of the condemnation action, the City authorized that the Subject Property to be acquired be appraised to determine the damages incurred by the owners as a result of this taking; and WHEREAS, the City's appraiser has completed preliminary appraisals of the Subject Property. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby approves the preliminary appraisals of value of the Subject Property as shown on the attached Exhibit A. 2) That pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 117.042, the City Attorney is authorized to deposit the appraised amounts with the District Court Administrator or to pay said amount directly to the parcels' respective owners. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Anderson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Hendriksen Councilmember Anderson Councilmember Connolly Councilmember Zimmerman and the following voted against the same:
