Renaming. <br /> <br />On December 12, 1990, Ramsey City Council adopted an ordinance changing the name of <br />138th Avenue N.W. and Riverdale Road N.W. to Front Street N.W. On February 13, <br />1990, the City of Ramsey received a letter from Haakon Jarnes stating his displeasure with <br />the changing of Riverdale Road N.W. to Front Street N.W. On March 27, 1990 City <br />Council held a public hearing to consider changing the name of the entirety of Front Street <br />N.W. to Riverdale Drive N.W. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to introduce <br />an ordinance changing the name of Front Street N.W. to Riverdale Drive N.W. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Peterson, DeLuc,'~, Cich <br />and Pearson. <br /> <br />Case #2: City of Ramsey Volunteer of the Year. <br /> <br />March 4 - 11, 1990 was Volunteer of America Week and was recognized by the Cily o£ <br />Ramsey. Nominations were discussed by the Councilmembers. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca to nominate Natalie Steffen as City of Ramsey <br />Volunteer of the Year. <br /> <br />Motion failed for lack of a second. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Cich to nominate <br />Margaret Connolly as City of Ramsey Volunteer of the Year. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting 'Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Peterson, Cich, DeLuca <br />and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember Cich to nominate <br />Gar5, Reimann as City of Ramsey Volunteer of the Year. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
