~ An As-Built drawing shall be provlded to the Ct ty shc~Ing the Iocatlon of the conductors between the breaker cabinet and the pole or poles; these drawings shall be provided to the CI~ by the contractor prior to the City accepting the street lights. Cables: All conductors, sultable for direct burial, will be type USE, copper cabie with ground. 6~ ~noundlng: At the breaker cablnet and at the end of each distribution clrcult there must be Installed a driven ground as required by National Electrlc Code Article Any dlstrlbutlon clrcult over 300 feet In length must have a driven ground rod at mtdpolnt. C. Ground wlre must be insulated wire suitable for direct burial. 7o .Circuits: For 120 volt clrcults all conductors wlll be brought up the pole and connections will be made at the fixture. Re ground wire will be connected to the grounding lug if provided. If there is no grounding lug, the fixture shall be grounded to the mast arm. Where more than one Ilght Is In line, a splice ~ill be made above grade In the junction box. Junc~rlon box shall be placed on the pole approximately 1' above ground level. Spllclng shall be done in the junc~rlon box and a in-the-line fuse shall be installed. B. Photo Control: Photo control Is to be faced as nearly north as practical. 9. Locks.' One-shot, loop-type locks are to be placed at each feed point by the elec~ricai contractor. Completion: When street lighting Is completed by the Contractor, he shall contact the Electrlcal Inspector for lnspe~-tlon (Eugene Boyle, 755-1499 ]~ne electrical contractor shall forward approved copy (blue) of electrical inspection to the City of Anoka or NSP. Re City of Anoka or NSP shall energlze the lights and notify the Ci~ of addresses and d~te energized. Final acceptance ls not made until As-Bullts and 5 blue-llne copies have been submitted to the City Engineer by the Contractor.
