Councihnember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-03-079 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING RAMSEY LIONS CLUB. APPLICATION FOR A <br />PREMISI,; PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT SPECTATORS BAR & GRILL IN <br />RAMSEY <br /> <br /> WIlEREAS, the Ramscy Lions Club. has applied for a premise permit for gambling at <br />Spectators Bar& Grill, 6415 Highway 10 NW Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Rmnsey Lions Club. has requested Council waive the 30-day notice' <br />I'm)vis/on; and <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />rccluircs the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br /> <br />NOW TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That thc Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for the <br />P, amsey l,ions Club, Inc. to operate lawful gambling at Spectators Bar & Grill, 6415 <br />I lighway 10 NW Ramsey <br /> <br />2) ~l hat thc Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />'l'hat thc Ramscy City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br />Officer to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br />(;ambling Control Board. <br /> <br />~l'he motion for thc adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Pearson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor (JalB cc <br />Cotmcihnember Elvig <br />Councilmcmber Pearson <br />Cotmcihnember Cook <br />Cotmcilmember Jeffrey <br />('mmcihncmber Strommen <br /> <br />and thc l'ollowing voted against the same: <br /> <br />NoIIc <br /> <br />and thc tbllowing abstained: <br /> <br /> <br />
