RESOLUTION NO 05-04- <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO COMMIT LOCAL MATCH IDENTIFIED IN DEPARMENT <br />OF EMPLOYMENT AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CONTAMINATION <br />CLEANUP GRANT APPLICATION <br />(Page 1 of 2) <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Ramsey act as the legal sponsor for the Former St. <br />Paul Terminals project included in the Contamination Cleanup Grant Program to be <br />submitted on May 1, 2005 and that the Mayor is hereby authorized to apply to the <br />l)cpartment of Employment and Economic Development for funding of this project on <br />behalt' of the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Ramsey has the legal authority to apply <br />f'or financial assistance, and the institutional, managerial, and financial capability to <br />ensurc adequate project administration. <br /> <br />lie IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sources and amounts of the local match <br />idcnti fled in the application are committed to the project identified. <br /> <br />liE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Ramsey has not violated any Federal, <br />State or Local laws pertaining to fraud, bribery, graft, kickbacks, collusion, conflict of <br />intcrcst or other unlawful or corrupt practice. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon approval of its application by the State, The <br />City o~' Ramsey may enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota for the above- <br />rcl'crcnced project, and that the City of Ramsey certifies that it will comply with all <br />applicable laws and regulation as stated in all contract agreements. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor is hereby authorized to <br />cxccutc such agreements as are necessary to implement the project on behalf of the <br />applicant. Please note that Statutory Cities must authorize both the Mayor and Clerk to <br />execute all contracts; <br /> <br /> <br />
