Two partners and I started.a Sign business using my basement as an office and utilizing a garage outside of Ramsey to manufacture signs. This fall I built a pole barn to use mostly for personal use but, because the sign business owns two vehicles, we decided to use the pole barn to store the vehicles, In December it became necessary to use additional space in the pole barn to make signs. The business has ~own much quicker than we expected. We recently got a job from Gander Mountain and found that our sign vehicles could not be parked inside due to the size of the sign. At this point the city received complaints I:?om our neighbor. Not because of these vehicles but, because a delivery truck pulled into his driveway. Our plan is to continue to utilize the pole barn until we need something bigger and then find a building within the City of Ramsey. We thought this would be a 3 to 5 year goal but, it could be quicker than that. Because the pole barn was built in the fall I was not able to tar an additional area to park vehicles, this will be done this summerl [ feel that the Sign Business can be an asset to the community. We purchase our gas from M & L Gas Station and patronize other Ramsey businesses. Signs by RSG has made, installed and repaired signs fbr local businesses. As a community service we repaired the LeToumeau's sign l:br no charge, knowing that they donated to Ramsey Elementary and RYAA. / would be happy to discuss the business with anyone who has questions.
