(!otmci hncmbcr__ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #05-04-XXX <br /> <br />RESOI,UTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE <br />PURCIIASE OF A TEMPORARY OFFICE BUILDING AT THE PUBLIC WORKS <br />CAMPIJS <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the preparation of plans and <br />spccifications lot' the above referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council approved the plans and specifications and the <br />advertisement lbr bids for tim above-referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the PURCHASE OF A <br />TEMPORARY OFFICE BUILDING bids were received, opened and tabulated according to <br />law on April 14, 2005; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, thc following bids were received for the Temporary Office Building <br /> <br /> Bidder Amount of Bid <br /> GE Capitol $79,956.10 <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, GE Capitol is the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) That thc Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br /> contract with GE Capitol in the name of the City of Ramsey for the purchase of a <br /> temporary office building in the amount of $79,956.10. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon. vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />amcl the fi)llowing voted against the same: <br /> <br />and thc Ibllowing abstained: <br /> <br />and the tbllowing were absent: <br /> <br /> <br />
