City approval/denial is necessary under the <br />State Statues. Fl'he Ramsey Women of Today meets all of the requirements which allows them to <br />remain exempt frmn licensing, primarily from the standpoint that the commodities to be raffled <br />arc valued at less than $12,000. <br /> <br />Approval requires nothing more than a motion followed by a letter to the Gambling Control <br />Board, while if the request is denied, a formal resolution for denial would need to be prepared <br />and submitted to the Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br /> <br />
