<br />CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Special Work Session on Thursday, <br />February 27, 2020, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Mayor John LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Nadine Heinrich <br />Councilmember Mark Kuzma <br />Councilmember Jeff Menth <br />Councilmember Debra Musgrove <br />Councilmember Chris Riley <br />Councilmember Dan Specht <br /> <br />Also Present: City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br />Deputy City Administrator Timothy Gladhill <br />Fire Chief Matt Kohner <br />Police Chief Jeff Katers <br /> Public Works Superintendent Grant Riemer <br />Parks and Assistant Public Works Superintendent Mark Riverblood <br />City Engineer Bruce Westby <br />Administrative Services Director Colleen Lasher <br />Communications and Events Coordinator Megan Thorstad <br />Finance Director, Diana Lund <br />Economic Development Manager, Sean Sullivan <br /> <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor LeTourneau called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:38 p.m. <br /> <br />TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />2.01: Annual Strategic Planning Session <br /> <br />Mayor LeTourneau welcomed everyone and announced that he would like to conduct the <br />meeting on a first name basis. It was the consensus to use first names during the meeting. He <br />asked each Councilmember a warm-up question. He asked how each Councilmember would <br />describe the unique perspective they bring to their role as a Councilmember. He stated the <br />responses provide a lens that each member sees through for the residents. <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich explained the two documents related to the strategic planning <br />session.
