Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #20-094 <br />RESOLUTION TO HIRE AN ENGINEERING INTERN <br />WHEREAS, annually the City employs temporary Engineering Interns to perform work <br />in the Engineering Department; and <br />WHEREAS, staff selected one qualified Engineering Intern candidate; and <br />WHEREAS, the candidate has passed the pre -employment screenings; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends hiring a 2020 Engineering Intern. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #20-094 to hire the following employee on or near the date <br />listed below: <br />Engineering Intern Kody Wilhelmi, effective on or near May 18, 2020 at $14.00 per hour. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 12th day of May, 2020. <br />
