Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #20-095 <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING BOARD AND COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />WHEREAS, there are open seats on the City's boards and commissions as of April 1, <br />2020; and <br />WHEREAS, the vacancies were advertised in the Ramsey Resident, the Anoka County <br />Union, on the City's website, on QCTV, on the City's Facebook, and via the city's email <br />notification system; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council conducted interviews on May 5, 2020; and <br />WHEREAS, per Minnesota Statue 469.095, pertaining to the Mayor's authority to <br />appoint members to the Economic Development Authority (EDA), Mayor LeTourneau indicated <br />that he will select Mr. Ryan Heineman to be appointed to the EDA; and the City Council <br />indicated approval with the Mayor's selection, as follows: <br />Economic Development Authority, Ryan Heineman 4-year partial term (05-13-20 to 03-31-24); <br />WHEREAS, the City Council agreed by consensus to the following remaining <br />appointments to the boards and commissions, as follows: <br />Environmental <br />Policy Board <br />Park and Recreation <br />Commission <br />Jared Little 4-year full term (05-13-20 to 03-31-24) <br />Justin Loss <br />Matthew Guck <br />4-year full term (05-13-20 to 03-31-24) <br />3-year partial term (05-13-20 to 03-31-23) <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #20-095 as follows: 1) appointing the following board and <br />commission members effective May 13, 2020: to the Economic Development Authority, <br />Mr. Ryan Heineman to a 4-year partial term; and to the Environmental Policy Board, Mr. <br />Jared Little to a 4-year full term; and to the Park and Recreation Commission, Mr. Justin <br />Loss to a 4-year full term, Mr. Matthew Guck to a 3-year partial term. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />
