City Staff has been made aware that there are multiple signs on the property for a <br />massage parlor that has gone out of business. This is a violation of City Code Section 117-462 <br />regarding the removal of signs by the zoning administrator. <br />City Staff sent a letter as a reminder to remove the signs. The zoning administrator may remove any <br />sign remaining after a business permanently closes. A $75 administrative citation is enclosed. Due <br />to the presence of both signs over two weeks after the business has ceased operations, the City is <br />sending you a second notice of violation. The signs are not for a currently operating business, and are <br />in violation with City Code Section 117-356. <br />You have fourteen (14) days from the date of this letter to: <br />• Remove the two signs for the massage parlor that is no longer operating. <br />If not removed by May 12th, 2020, the City will remove the signs and you will be charged <br />125% the cost of the abatement. <br />City Code Section 117-462 - The zoning administrator may cause the removal of any illegal sign, <br />any sign remaining after a business permanently closes, or any sign not properly maintained in <br />cases of emergency, or after failure to timely comply with written orders for removal or repair. <br />City of Ramsey • 7550 Sunwood Dr NW • Ramsey, MN 55303 <br />City Hall (763) 427-1410 • Police Administration (763) 427-6812 <br />
