Council Update COVID-19 Update: Ramsey City Hall, Fire Station #1 and the police lobby will open to the public Tuesday, May 26, with certain restrictions, consistent with the Governor’s guidelines. The City Council will soon consider lifting the Local Emergency Declaration, knowing that many systems and procedures are now in place to effectively combat the COVID-19 virus. As we prepare for this transition at City Hall, additional safety measures will be put into place to protect both employees and the public. These measures include, but are not limited to, Plexiglas shields on front desk/counter windows, floor markings to encourage social distancing, hand sanitizing stations, Anoka County License Center assistance at the front desk, directional signage inside and out, one-way hall traffic, routine sanitizing and similar measures.
