Councilmember Heinrich introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #20-029 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AN EASEMENT ENCROACHMENT AGREEMENT FOR <br />A PYLON SIGN TO BE INSTALLED IN A DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT <br />ON LOT 1, BLOCK 1 NAME BRAND FIRST ADDITION AND DECLARING TERMS <br />OF SAME <br />WHEREAS, Name Brand Self Storage Ramsey LLC, hereinafter referred to as the <br />"Applicant", has requested an Encroachment Agreement to facilitate the installation of a pylon sign <br />(the "Sign") within a drainage and utility easement (the "Easement") on the property legally <br />described as follows: <br />Lot 1, Block 1 Name Brand First Addition ("Subject Property") <br />WHEREAS, the Applicant still needs to apply for and receive a Permanent Sign Permit <br />to install the Sign on the Subject Property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has reviewed the request and has determined <br />that the Easement can still function as designed with the encroachment of the Sign; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the request on February 24, 2020. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That, contingent upon the Applicant entering into an Easement Encroachment <br />Agreement with the City and recording said agreement against the Subject Property, the <br />Applicant may install and maintain the Sign in accordance with the terms and conditions <br />contained within the Easement Encroachment Agreement. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Heinrich <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember Menth <br />Councilmember Musgrove <br />Councilmember Riley <br />Councilmember Specht <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />
