Presentation NRA Executive Director Frolik explained this is the reconvening of the public hearing regarding ti~e establishment of a Housing and Redevelopment Authority. On February 22, 2005, per staff's recommendation, the City Council recessed the public hearing to the regular meeting on Tuesday, March 8, 2005. The City has received the necessary consents from the County HRA and DEED. The resolution is eligible for adoption. She explained on February 22, 2005, the City Council also introduced an ordinance to amend City Code Chapter 2 (Boards and Commissions) to create the HRA. The ordinance is now eligible for adoption. The public hearing can now be adjourned il' there are no additional comments. Citizen Input There was none. Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to close the public hearing. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Strommen, Elvig, Olson, and Pearson. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Jeffrey. The public hearing was closed at 7:15 p.m. Council Business Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:15 p.m. HRA Executive Director Frolik indicated consent has been received from Anoka County HRA and DEED to establish a Housing and Redevelopment Authority. The resolution and ordinance are eligible for adoption. Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to adopt resolution #05- 03~072 to form a HRA in and for the City of Ramsey. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Cook, Olson, Pearson, and Strommcn. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Jeffrey. Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to adopt Ordinance 05-05 to amend City Code Chapter 2 (Boards and Commissions) to create a Housing and Rcdeveloprnent Authority.
