Business development could be encouraged in both Ramsey and Loudi. <br /> <br />Loudi is paying more and more attention to environmental issues. They are also interested in <br />manufacturing, high-tech, and medical type businesses. Loudi is considering naming a portion of <br />[,oudi Industrial Park as the Ramsey High-Tech Park or Ramsey Industrial Park. They have <br />discussed a joint nursing program, and there is a local company called Excorp Medical Inc. <br />interested in a relationship. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec asked what the next step would be to begin a sister city relationship with Loudi. <br /> <br />Mr. Hegg replied if the Council wants to proceed with a sister city relationship it should be made <br />formal. It would be arranged for some or all of the Councilmembers to visit Loudi and make this <br />contact. Representatives of Loudi would have already visited Ramsey, but they have been asked <br />to wait nntil someone from Ramsey can visit them first.
