<br />Councilmember Heinrich introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #20-107 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ALTERNATE BID B FOR VARIOLITE STREET <br />RECONSTRUCTION, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #20-01 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct Variolite Street between Alpine <br />rd <br />Drive and 173 Avenue in 2020; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #20-071 adopted April 14, <br />2020, the City Council accepted the Feasibility Report and ordered the City Engineer to prepare <br />plans and specifications for Improvement Project #20-01, Variolite Street Reconstruction; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #20-089 adopted May 12, <br />2020, the City Council approved plans and specifications and authorized the advertisement of <br />bids for the same improvements; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City Engineer requests City Council authorization to issue an addendum <br />including Alternate Bid B as part of the plans and specifications for the same improvements due <br />to the numerous benefits this alternate is anticipated to provide. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) The Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Engineer to issue an addendum <br />including Alternate Bid B to the plans and specifications for Variolite Street <br />Reconstruction, Improvement Project #20-01. <br /> <br />The motion of the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kuzma, and upon a roll call vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Acting Mayor Riley <br /> Councilmember Heinrich <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Menth <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />
