<br />Councilmember Heinrich introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #20-111 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DESIGN OF A PROPOSED STABLE/HORSE <br />SHELTER AT 14401 ARMSTRONG BOULEVARD NW <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, “Property Owner”, <br />Kristen F. Joly, hereinafter referred to as the has applied <br />“Permit”“Shelter” <br />for a Building Permit (the ) to construct a new horse shelter (the ) with certain <br />required architectural features only on the front elevation rather than all four (4) sides on the <br />property generally known as 14401 Armstrong Boulevard NW and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />rd <br /> Lot 1, Block 2 Alpaca Estates 3 Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />“Subject Property” <br /> (the ); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> City Code Section 117-349 (Accessory Uses and Buildings) requires all <br />detached accessory buildings to be designed with soffit, fascia and eave overhangs; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS,Shelter <br />the proposed does include, soffit, fascia and eave overhang on the <br /> <br />front elevation but not on the other three elevations; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> City Code Section 10-3 (Barns and Stables) states that any barn or stable <br />housing horses, sheep, cows, goats, or other animals shall be located at least seventy-five (75) feet <br />from neighboring lot lines. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />Shelter <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants approval of the as designed with <br />Subject Property. <br />architectural features only on the front elevation on the <br /> <br />That the motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Kuzma, and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br /> <br /> Acting Mayor Riley <br /> Councilmember Heinrich <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Menth <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
