Presentation <br /> <br />H RA Executive Director Frolik explained this is the reconvening of the public hearing regarding <br />[he establishment of a Housing and Redevelopment Authority. On February 22, 2005, per staff's <br />rcc~)mmendation, the City Council recessed the public hearing to the regular meeting on <br />Tuesday, March 8, 2005. The City has received the necessary consents from the County HRA <br />and DEED. The resolution is eligible for adoption. She explained on February 22, 2005, the <br />City Council also introduced an ordinance to amend City Code Chapter 2 (Boards and <br />Commissions) to create the HRA. The ordinance is now eligible for adoption. The public <br />hearing can now be adjourned if there are no additional comments. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to close the public <br />hem-in~ <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Strommen, Elvig, Olson, <br />and Pearson. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberJeffrey. <br /> <br />The public hearing was closed at 7:15 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:15 p.m. <br /> <br />HR/; Executive Director Frolik indicated consent has been received from Anoka County HRA <br />and DEED to establish a Housing and Redevelopment AUthority. The resolution and ordinance <br />arc eligible fbr adoption. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to adopt resolution #05- <br />034)72 to fbrm a HRA in and for the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councitmembers Elvig, Cook, Olson, Pearson, and <br />Strommen. Voting No: None.
