Norman <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Executive HRA Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Assistant Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Associate Planner Amy Geisler <br />Police Chief James Way <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />at the <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Maym' Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to Order'at 7:04 p.m. and called <br />upon two members of Boy Scout Troop 414 to lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, The <br />Boy Scouts were in attendance to earn the Citizenship in Community Merit Badge. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION: LIVABLE COMMUNITIES GRANT BY METROPOLITAN <br />COtiNCIL REPRESENTATIVE NATALIE HAAS STEFFEN <br /> <br />Moved in the agenda to Gllow the Citizen Input. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION: ANNUAL STATE OF THE CITY REPORT <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec presented the annual State of the City Report. He stated the current Ramsey <br />population is about 23,000. The ~owth in the last few years has been important to the tax base, <br />and there have not been large tax increases in the City. The growth has helped provide services <br />to the citizens with their taxes remaining one of the lowest in a city of their size. After the <br />election of last fall he as Mayor and Councilmember Strommen returned to office; and <br />Cm,mcihnembers Olson and Jeffrey joined the Council.
