He <br />explained this project will require a WMO permit, which would include a study of the drainage. <br /> <br />Councitmember Elvig inquired if better detail can be obtained about how high the water may get <br />on Mr. Howe's property. <br /> <br />Assistant Public Works Director Olson replied the 100-year elevation can be determined. He <br />explained there is a requirement to be certain the water is cleaned before it goes to the wetland. <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig inquired about the process for the property owners to collectively hear <br />about this project again. <br /> <br />Assistant Public Works Director Olson replied he would suggest anyone with concerns should <br />contact City Hall. Staff can visit their property and inform them what the project will likely do <br />in front of their property, and exactly where the road will be. He indicated there has been one <br />informational meeting with this neighbgrhood. In three or four weeks' ~taff will have the ability <br />to complete some information relating to concerns of property owners and where things are <br />located. They will be able to define where the road is now and where it will be when the project <br />is completed, and things such as ditch lines. Another notice can then be sent out to meet with the <br />neighborhood again. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted if there are too many concerns this project may be held off for this year. He <br />noted the prices would likely be substantially higher if the project is held off too long in the year. <br /> <br />Assistant Public Works Director Olson replied currently the project is very close to not making it <br />into this year.
