Voting Yes: Chairperson Strommen and Councilmembers Elvig. Voting No: <br />Mayor Gamcc. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated his preference to start out right and hire a person at the beginning of the <br />p~'ocess. 'lhen lhc costs would not need to be spent for a consultant. <br /> <br />('hairperson Strommeu stated she thinks a consultant would be needed anyway since this <br />expertise is needed. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION OF ADMINISTRATIVE FEE <br /> <br />l/inance Director Lund advised that Crestview has been calling staff to ask if the City will be <br />charging an administrative fee for upcoming bond issuance. She explained that it is typical for <br />:zilics lc) charge one-quarter of a percent of the bond issuance. Finance Director Lund reviewed <br />inf~mnation fi'om Ohnstead that charges a minimum administrative fee of $3,000 up to a <br />maximum of' $25,000. Crestview will be issuing $18 million of bonds so one-quarter of a <br />percent would equal $45,000. Finance Director Lund advised that the administrative fee was <br />waived (m thc PACT School but, at some point, the City needs to cover its costs.
