Commissioner Watson inquired how many units are being proposed. <br /> <br />Principal Planner Trudgeon responded there are 204 on the Concept Plan. The gross density <br />would be 8.39 units per acre. Medium density is defined as up to 7 units. He guessed there <br />would be a net density of 10 to 11 units per acre. The neighbors across the road are mostly <br />residential and some commercial. The neighbors have not expressed opposition to this <br />development. <br /> <br />Commissioner Watson questioned whether the access would be from T.H. #47 or 153rd Avenue. <br /> <br />Mr. Eby responded the access would be to 153ra Avenue. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Kociscak, seconded by Commissioner Reeve, to recommend that City <br />Council adopt the Findings of Fact, favorable to the applicant, relating to a request to rezone the <br />subject property from R-1 R Residential, B-1 Business, and B-2 Business to Multiple Residential. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Commissioners Kociscak, Reeve, and Watson. Voting No: <br />Chairperson Nixt. Absent: Commissioners Johnson and Sweet. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt explained he was opposed because he understood the intent for that area was <br />for commercial development. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Kociscak, seconded by Commissioner Reeve, to recommend that City <br />Council approve the request to rezone the subject property from R-1R Residential, B~I Business, <br />and B-2 Business to Multiple Residential, based on the findings of facts. <br /> <br />Motion Carried.
