Cot~ncilmcmber Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-02-039 RESOI.UTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON iMPROVEMENT PROJECT #05-03 (SEALCOAT AND CRACKFILL GORHAM'S SANDY ACRES ESTATES, SECTION 24 (UNPLATTED) WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey Public Works Committee, adopted .lanuary l 8, 2005, a feasibility study for the 2005 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared by Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #05-03 (Gorham's Sandy Acres Estates, Section 24 (Unplatted); and WIt EREAS, the report was received by the Ramsey City Council on February 08, 2005 which indicates the following: [!stimatcd total cost of project $33,185 Estimated total assessment $16,593 Estimated assessment per unit (3-year term) $233.70 NOW TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That thc Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of crackfilling and scalcoating of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of $33,185. 'lhat a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 8th day of March, 2005 at Ramsey Fire Station, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
