Cotmci hncmber Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-02-043 I,[ESOI,UTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #05-07 (BITUMINOUS OVERLAY (UNPIJATTED) HEARING ON SECTION 21 WIIEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey Public Works Committee, adopted January ] 8, 2005, a feasibility study for the 2005 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared by Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #05-07 (Bituminous Overlay Section 2l (Unplatted); and WIIEREAS, the report was received by the Ramsey City Council on February 08, 2005 which indicates the following: Estimated total cost of project $211,027 Estimated total assessment $105,513 Estimated assessment per unit ( 1 O-year term) $787.41 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the Ramscy City Council will consider the improvements of Bituminous Overlay of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramscy City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of $211,027 ~) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 8th day of March, 2005 at Ramsey Fire Station, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. motion For the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember ~'ook and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamcc Councilmembcr Pearson Councilmenlbcr Cook Councihnember Elvig Councilmember Jeffrey Councilmember Olson (¢ouncihnember Strommen RESOLUTION #05-02-043 Page 1 Of 2
