Councilmcmber Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-02-053 <br /> <br />RESOI,UTION APPROVING 1ST PARTIAL PAYMENT TO W.B. MILLER INC. FOR <br />i[.P. #04-31 WATERMAIN EXTENSION TO WELL NO 6 <br /> <br /> Wlt EREAS, on August 10, 2004, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #04-08- <br />209 attlhorizing plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WIlEREAS, on September 13, 2004, the Ramsey City Council awarded the contract for <br />II~//04~31 to WB Miller Inc. in the amount of $85,942.50. <br /> <br />NOW TtlEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That thc City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to WB Miller Inc. for <br />hnprovemcnt Project #04-31 in the amount of $16,650.65. <br /> <br />That thc City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills For the date of February 22, 2005. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />rcsolution. <br /> <br />Thc motion For the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Jell'fey, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmcmbcr Pearson <br />(:ouncihncmber Jeffrey <br />Cotmcilmember Cook <br />Counci hncmber Elvig <br />()ounci Imember Olson <br />()ounci hncmber Strommen <br /> <br />m~d ~ilc Ibllowing voted against the same: <br /> <br />110110 <br /> <br />allC[ thc 2>1lowing abstained: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-02-053 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
