Chairperson Nixt is in favor of changing the designation because it is more consistent with what <br />is there. <br /> <br />Ed Hamilton, 6615 Highway 10, asked if the plan is going to go any farther west with Places to <br />Work. <br /> <br />Principal Planner Trudgeon explained the City is not planning on that now, though it is hard to <br />say if it will happen in the future. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Johnson to recommend that City <br />Council designate land south of Highway #10 and east of Sunfish lake Boulevard, to Places to <br />Work in the Ramsey Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Johnson, Brauer, Sweet, and <br />Watson. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Kociscak and Reeve. <br /> <br />Case #10: Consideration to Changing Regular Meeting Date <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik commented that the Planning Commission had <br />determined previously that Thursday might be a better meeting night. The City Code states the <br />Commission shall meet regularly at least once a month at a date and time determined by the <br />Commission. If the meeting date is changed, Staff requested it be effective January 2002 so staff <br />can advertise the change in the City Newsletter. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Johnson to change the regular meeting <br />night of the Planning Commission to the first Thursday of the month commencing January 2002. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Johnson, Brauer, Sweet, and <br />Watson. Voting No: None.
