<br />Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION #20-133 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY TO <br />RIVERSTONE DEVELOPMENT LLC <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City of Ramsey, herein referred to as the “City,” owns various parcels <br />throughout the City of Ramsey; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the City received and entered into a formal purchase agreement for the sale <br />of the parcel described as: <br /> <br />39,249 sf of existing right-of-way located on Puma Street, just South of Alpine Drive, and <br />43,592 sf of land located on OUTLOT C, ALPHA DEVELOPMENT PLAT (20-32-25-31- <br />0003). Total estimated site of 1.90 acres or 82,841 square feet. <br /> <br />(“the Property”), on July 25, 2017, with Riverstone Development, LLC a Minnesota <br />limited liability company (the “Purchase Agreement”); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the City received and entered into Purchase Agreement Amendment 1 <br />to extend the Closing to on or before July 15, 2020, on August 23, 2018, with Riverstone <br />Development, LLC a Minnesota limited liability company (the “Amendment”); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the City and Riverstone Development, LLC agreed to a purchase price of <br />$25,000 per acre; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />On March 10, 2015 the City Council Adopted Ordinance 15-05which <br />declared the Property to be surplus City-owned land that is no longer needed for current or future <br />City functions, and authorizes the property to be sold; and <br /> <br />nd <br />WHEREAS, <br />the Property has now been platted as Outlot A, Alpha Development 2 <br />Addition (A portion of 20-32-25-31-0003) and is 1.09 acres or 47,441 square feet in size. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City hereby declares the Property to be surplus City-owned land, and authorizes <br />the property to be sold. <br /> <br />nd <br />2) That the City hereby authorizes the sale of Outlot A, Alpha Development 2 Addition to <br />Riverstone Development, LLC, for $27,250. <br /> <br />
