Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #20-127 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE AGREEMENT FOR A <br />DETACHED ACCESSORY STRUCTURE THAT INCLUDES A THREE PIECE BATHROOM, <br />KITCHEN SINK, AND RECREATINO SPACE ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 15820 <br />SAINT ANDREWS LANE AND DECLARING TERMS OF THE AGREEMENT <br />RECITALS <br />1. The City of Ramsey received a building permit application from John and Amy Wisniewski for a <br />twenty four foot by twenty four foot (24' x 24') pool house on the property generally known as <br />15820 Saint Andrews Lane and legally described as follows: <br />Lot 20, Block 1, Northfork St Andrews Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />(the "Subject Property") <br />2. That on May 26, 2020 John and Amy Wisniewski, owners of the Subject Property, herein <br />referred to as the "Applicant", submitted an application for a Building Permit to construct a 576 <br />square foot detached accessory structure (the "Accessory Structure") for a pool house on the <br />Subject Property. <br />3. That the Applicant's plans indicate that the Accessory Structure would include a bathroom with <br />a toilet sink, and shower, as well as a recreation living space and a wall of cabinets that would <br />include a sink. <br />4. That the Subject Property is zoned Planned Unit Development (PUD) and the surrounding <br />parcels are zoned Planned Unit Development (PUD) <br />5. That the Subject Property is approximately 2.7 acres and is surrounded by lots similar in size. <br />6. That the Applicant owns and occupies the dwelling unit on the Subject Property. <br />7. That there are currently zero detached accessory buildings on the Subject Property. <br />8. That the Accessory Structure is 576 square feet in size which is below the total amount of <br />square feet of accessory building allowed on the Subject Property. <br />9. That City Code Section 117-349 (Accessory Uses and Buildings) states that accessory buildings <br />shall be prohibited from containing complete independent living facilities (accessory apartments), <br />defined as having three or more of the following: permanent provisions for living, sleeping, eating, <br />and sanitation. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />RESOLUTION #19-257 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
