CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: 06/23/2020 <br />Submitted For: Sean Sullivan, Community Development <br />By: Wendy Schlueter, Community Development <br />5. 12. <br />Information <br />Title <br />Adopt Resolution #20-128 Denying a Massage Establishment and Massage Therapy License <br />Purpose/Background: <br />Olga 011anketo (dba Body Healing Services) has submitted a license renewal application for Therapeutic Massage <br />Therapist and Therapeutic Massage Establishment at 9430 181st Ave NW. <br />Recommendation: <br />After completion of the required Background Check, Chief Katers recommends denial of the licenses for <br />Therapeutic Massage Establishment for Body Healing Services located at 9430 181st Ave NW and Therapeutic <br />Massage Therapist for Olga 011anketo. <br />The basis for the denial recommendation is: <br />• Application contains incorrect information. Applicant failed to disclose that she had previously had a revoked <br />massage license in other municipalities. It was found the City of Brooklyn Park revoked her license for failure <br />to meet the schooling requirements in 2015. <br />• Applicant has also been previously charged on two occasions for operating a therapeutic massage without a <br />license in the City of Crystal in 2010.
