The proposed <br />rezoning is consistent with the City's Future Land Use guidance for the parcel as shown in the 2040 Comprehensive <br />Plan. The 2040 Comprehensive Plan is currently being reviewed by the Metropolitan Council. Rezoning would be <br />contingent upon final adoption of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan by the City Council. The Planning Commission <br />and Staff are supportive of Alternative 1. <br />Alternative 2 - Do not adopt Ordinance #20-06 Rezoning the Subject Property from R-1 Residential (MUSA) to R-1 <br />Detached Villa as shown in the previously submitted sketch plan. The proposed rezoning is consistent with the <br />City's 2040 Future Land Use Map.
