<br />Councilmember Menth introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #20-148 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENTS FOR BIDS FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #20-07 CITY OF RAMSEY PUBLIC WORKS CAMPUS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The City of Ramsey has long planned for a new public works facility and <br />added it to the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) in 2006, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on September 10, 2020, the city council approved hiring RJM Construction <br />to act on the city’s behalf to provide pre-construction and construction management services for <br />the new City of Ramsey Public Works facility, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on February11, 2020 the city council authorized staff to enter into a <br />contract for architectural and engineering services with Oertel Architects, for a new City of <br />Ramsey Public Works Facility <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, RJM Construction has completed budget estimates for Bid Pack #1, which <br />includes the structural, civil and precast components of the new City of Ramsey Public Works <br />Facility. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) The Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the advertisement of bids for Bid Pack #1 <br />for the new City of Ramsey Public Works Facility <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Menth <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
