<br />Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #20-153 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING MANUFACTURES COHORT 2020 RENEWAL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City of Ramsey, that the City of Ramsey has supported the Anoka Area <br />Chamber of Commerce and the Manufactures Cohort annually since 2015; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the Manufacturers Cohort is designed to assist Ramsey businesses relating <br />to recruiting and retaining workforce; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />the cost for annual renewal for the Manufacturer Cohort is $5,000 and the <br />EDA has recommended renewal for 2020. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) The City Council authorizes processing the 2020 renewal for the Manufacturing Cohort in <br />the amount of $5000.00. The renewal is to be paid from Fund EDA 9230-6315. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Menth, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Menth <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Riley <br />p Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> Mayor LeTourneau <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Existing Vacancy <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
