Councitmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-05- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE ISSUANCE OF AN INTERIM USE PERMIT TO <br />ESTABLISH AN OUTDOOR PAINTBALL FIELD IN AN EMPLOYMENT DISTRICT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, David Bednarczyk, President of FSL Paintball Arena, hereinafter referred to <br />as "Applicant", has properly applied to the City of Ramsey (the "City") for an Interim Use permit <br />(Permit) to establish an outdoor paintbatl field on the property located at 6651 141st Ave NW and <br />legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 1, Block 1, Gateway North Industrial Park No. 5, Anoka County, MinnesOta <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on April 21, 2005, conducted a public <br />hearing and recommended that the City Council deny the request to establish an outdoor paintball <br />field on the Subject Property; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council met on May 10, 2005 to review the request for an interim <br />usc pctanit to establish an outdoor paintball field on the Subject Property. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution #05-05-__ adopting Findings of Fact <br />#__. relating to the Applicant's request for a Permit to establish an outdoor paintball field in an <br />employment district. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) This permit is denied pursuant to Section 9.03.06 of the Ramsey City Code, based on <br /> Findings of Fact # <br /> <br />The m(~tion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duty seconded by Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the fbllowing voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the ~bllowing abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this thc l0th day of May, 2005. <br /> <br />-207- <br /> <br /> <br />
