Counci hnember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-XX-XXX A RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL OF RUM RIVER ESTATES. WHEREAS, National Growth, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied lbr preliminary plat approval of Rum River Estates Addition on the following described property located in the City of Ramsey: The north 330.00 feet of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 23, Township 32, Range 25, together with an eaSement for road purposes over the west 33.00 feet of that part of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 23 which lies north of County State Aid Highway No. 5; according to the United States Government survey thereof, Anoka County, Minnesota. (the "Subject Property") WHEREAS, on December 13, 2004, the City of Ramsey received an application and sketch plan from National Growth for a plat to be named Rum River Estates; and and WHEREAS, on January 6, 2005, the Planning Commission reviewed the sketch plan; WHEREAS, on January 25, 2005, the City Council reviewed the sketch plan; and WHEREAS, on February 11, 2005, the Developer submitted a preliminary plat for Rum River Estates to the City; and WHEREAS, on April 7, 2005, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing and recommended the City Council deny the preliminary plat; and WHEREAS, on April 14, 2005, the Park and Recreation Commission recommended park dedication and trail fees be satisfied through a cash payment; and WHEREAS, on May 10, 2005, the City Council reviewed the preliminary plat for Rum River [';states; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA; That tiao Ramsey City Council hereby ~~ preliminary plat approval to Rum River l';:;tatcs contingent upon compliance with City Staff Review Letter dated May 6, 2005. -283-
