Liquid Waste Hauler Disposal Sites <br /> <br />MCES has forecasted significant growth in the rural areas served with septic tard<s. <br />BY 2(130 there could be an additional 57,500 septic tanks inside the seven county <br />service area, resulting in a 77 percent increase in'the total number of tanks. The <br />current amount of septmge received at each site and the forecasted increase, shown in <br />Figure ES-2, indicates which sites are probable t° have a significant increase. Growth <br />in the northern suburbs will more than double the amount of septage delivered to the <br />Forest Lake site and almost double the amount received in Coon RaPids. <br /> <br />For this study, the current Hauled Liquid Waste PrOgram was assessed relative to <br />three essential attributes of a hauled liquid waste program: program administration; <br />appropriate.surface features for waste receiving locations; and procedures to assure <br />the proper operation and maintenance of sewers and treatment plants receiving the <br />hauled liquid waste. <br /> <br />The at-tribute "Program administration" includes: <br /> <br />· Permitting haulers <br />· Controlling access to disposal sites <br />· Tracking waste disposed at ffie disposal sites <br /> <br />ES-2 <br /> <br />-375- <br /> <br /> <br />
