Councilmember Jeffrey aye <br />Councilmember Olson aye <br />Councilmember Pearson aye <br />(~om~cilmember Strommen aye <br />Mayor Garnet aye <br /> <br />Motio~ carried. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance to Amend the TC-2 Zoning District Regarding Accessory <br />Gas Operations; Case of Coborn's, Inc. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Trudgeon indicated the Town Center TC-2 sub-district <br />zoning regulations allow for gasoline sales as an accessory use to a.permitted use provided <br />certain conditions can be met. One condition is that the number of fuel islands is limited to 3, <br />with a maximum of six individual dispensers. Coborn's has applied for a zoning amendment to <br />increase the number of fuel islands allowed from 3 to 4. On April 7th the Planning Commission <br />rccom mended approval of the zoning amendment. On April 12th the City Council introduced the <br />ordinance amendment. The ordinance is now eligible for adoption. <br /> <br />C, otmcilmember Cook noted the additional pump will allow for diesel fuel on this site. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to adopt Ordinance #05- <br />11 tt) amend City Code Section 9.20.25, Subd. 3 of the TC-2 Zoning District, to increase the <br />number of gasoline pumps allowed from 3 to 4. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />Councilmcmber Cook aye <br />Council member Elvig aye <br />Councilmember Jeffrey aye <br />Cotmcilmember Olson aye <br />Councihnember Pearson aye <br />Councihnember Strommen aye <br />Mayor Gamec aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Mike Wall, Director of Construction Facilities Maintenance for Coborn's, <br />stated Coborn's is excited to be part of the Ramsey growth that is happening in the county and <br />the [ [ighway 10 corridor. He explained the reason for the fourth pump is to offer more customer <br />service to the community.
