Councilmember ........... introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION' #XX-XX-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AN AUTOMATIC FIRE DEPARTMENT MUTUAL AID <br />RESPONSE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF ANOKA, THE CITY OF OAK GROVE <br />AND THE CITY OF ANDOVER, AND THE CITY OF RAMSEY FOR A KNOWN <br />STRUCTURE FIRE BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 5:00 A.M. AND 5:00 P.M. MONDAY <br />THRU FRIDAY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Andover, City of Anoka, City of Oak Grove and the City of Ramsey <br />fire departments are all members of the North Suburban Regional'Mutual Aid Association and the <br />Anoka County Fire Protection Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the terms, conditions, and definitions for responding to an automatic mutual aid ' <br />fire incident as outlined in the resolution, shall be the same as those in the North Suburban Regional <br />Mutual Aid Association and Anoka County Fire Protection Council agreements; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Andover, Anoka, Oak Grove and Ramsey fire departments realize the loweSt <br />number of available members to respond to fire incidents during the daytime hours; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Insurance Service Office (I.s.O.), will acknowledge this automatic mutual <br />aid agreement and may grant additional points for improving the fire protection ratings for each <br />municipality involved; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this agreement will also assist to reduce the response times for all additional <br />firefighters and appropriate fire equipment needed to safely perfom fire suppression activities. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby orders 'the signing of an automatic mutual aid fire agreement <br />with the City of Anoka, City of Oak Grove and ~he City of Andover. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />............ , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in'favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />-74- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-05-XXX <br /> Page 1 of 1 · <br /> <br /> <br />
