Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #20-178 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CARES ACT GRANT FUNDING FOR ELECTION <br />RELATED COSTS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey hereby acknowledges that the sum of $12,834.20 will be <br />provided by Anoka County to the City of Ramsey under the CARES Act grant to which the county <br />is the Grantee, and the municipality acknowledges that it is subject to the provisions of paragraphs <br />1 through 5, 7 through 11 and 13 through 15 of the 2020 CARES Act Grant Agreement as if it <br />were the Grantee. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby acknowledges the sum of $12,834.20 of the CARES <br />Act Grant with Anoka County and to accept the $12,834.20 grant allocation for election <br />related costs. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 25th day of August, 2020. <br />Mayor <br />
