Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #20-182 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING ALTERNATIVE MATERIALS FOR SEATING WALLS ADJACENT <br />TO THE SAPPHIRE <br />WHEREAS, Sapphire Apartment, LLC, hereafter referred to as "Developer", properly applied for Final <br />Plat and Site Plan approval of the following described property located in the City of Ramsey: <br />Outlot A, COR Parkview Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />Or upon platting: <br />Lot 1, Block 1, COR Sapphire Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />(the `Subject Property'); <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved the Final Plat and Site Plan for The Sapphire on July 9, 2019, <br />which included seating walls adjacent to the site consisting of materials similar to what had been used adjacent to <br />Casey's and Alina; <br />WHEREAS, the Developer has requested authorization to utilize alternative materials for the seating <br />walls (see attached exhibit). <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants approval of use of alternative materials (as shown in the <br />attached exhibit) for the seating walls adjacent to The Sapphire. There shall be no change in location of <br />seating walls. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Existing Vacancy <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this 25th day of <br />August, 2020. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />
